By practicing mindfulness and mindful leadership, leaders can have more control over their decisions and be more aware of how their decisions impact the company and everyone in it. From there, leaders can make policy changes that are more conducive to people’s wellbeing and growth to make workplace better. A culture of compassion will surely bring about trust and dedication from both sides.
Trust
When employees see that their leaders are treating them as expendable, they will not trust these leaders. They will be guarded; they will operate in fear, which is never good for the well being, creativity, nor productivity. This year, leaders must work to re-build relationships in their organization and earn their employees’ trust if they want to thrive in the coming years.
