Understanding better what expectations, reality, and success all mean and how they align with one another is important for making certain that your company thrives.

Whether you’re starting a business or are already leading one, you likely have certain expectations of your employees and of where your business ends up going over the future. But are those expectations grounded in reality? If they’re not, you could be actually sabotaging your own happiness and your company’s growth.
For example, expecting to double profits over a month or thinking that an employee should be able to generate triple their sales for the year are wonderful dreams, but they’re not quite realistic when you get right down to it. Setting up a clear idea of what success is – one that is also realistic – is a must for anyone, but it’s not always as easy as you might think.
