At Technalink, we are often asked about the manner in which spirituality fits into the professional workplace. The simple answer is that spirituality is a part of our innate beings and our overall factors for wellness, so how can it not be a part of the workplace, which is also an integral part of life. When we work in the same manner as we live, then we also find that our expression of self is more greatly aligned with our own truth.
Many times, the spiritual approach does seem counter to traditional ways of doing business, but it is by allowing and aligning, not by trying to control, that more personal and professional opportunities become apparent. One aspect of this is that the ability to connect with clients and others in a more personal manner also engenders stronger engagement. The result is that individuals behave as impeccable beings, whether it is in personal or professional outlets.
Another factor of how the spiritual approach facilitates building potential is through the intent, motivation, and energy that are behind any endeavors. Mindful determination embraces the balance of spirituality and wellness, in that there is a focus for positive outcomes, but there is also an awareness that the path may be different than expected.
What this really means is that no matter whether you are an employee or a business owner, you can always approach every task in the process with the intent of the personal goal or outcome. Mindful determination means that you may be a cashier who wants to rise to the level of CEO, and so you perform every task with the pride and attention you would have as a CEO. The result is that you are energetically inviting progress, while also actionably demonstrating this intent.
Mindful determination allows you to show a gratitude for where you are, while always striving, without attachment.
