Using Color To Bring Positive Emotions To Your Work Space

Using Color To Bring Positive Emotions To Your Work Space The workspace you create will have a big impact on the day you have. Scent and color are two ways you can really transform your workplace into one that is encouraging to your compassionate leadership goals. Scented oils and Rudraksha mala prayer beads help to work on the scent you bring into your office, but color should be a main focus as well. Choosing the wrong colors can cloud your judgement, lead to aggression, and even make your compassionate leadership goals more difficult to achieve.

Whether you tend to gravitate toward warm colors or cool colors, there are shades in each category that can be great for incorporating into your workspace color scheme. Shades like yellow and orange help to promote happiness, optimism, and positive energy and they make excellent accent colors around your professional space. In the cool color spectrum blues and greens are ideal for creating a calming and soothing environment, particularly if you’re looking to remain unbiased and empathetic in all of your professional decisions.

For those who are looking to create a workspace that promotes creativity and innovation, purple is a particularly unique beneficial shade. This color combines the intensity of red with the calmness of blue, helping you to focus on passions as you create new products, ideas, or solutions. While a full purple office may be a bit too intense, purple accents bring a great effective energy into your space.

While there are colors that work really well in creating a great workspace atmosphere, there are colors that you may want to avoid as well. Colors like intense reds can be distracting and promote aggressive energies, which is exactly what you don’t want if you’re looking to progress in your spiritual leadership. Muted neutrals like gray or beige can be viewed as sad energy colors, and maybe should be avoided if you’re looking to create an atmosphere that is primarily cheery or optimistic. If you do wish to use shades like gray, offsetting the shade with pops of yellow can create a nice energy balance.

At Technalink we know just how influential your atmosphere can be, and color is one way you can make your professional atmosphere truly your own. Taking these colors and bringing them into your space with stones, décor, or fabrics helps you to grow the energies you need to thrive.
