Goals For The New Year That Result In Better Peace Of Mind

Goals For The New Year That Result In Better Peace Of MindEntrepreneurship can be stressful, but it’s also better connected with inner peace than you may think. To start this New Year off right, setting goals to improve your peace of mind going forward is an excellent way to ensure progress in your soulful leadership. Technalink teams are encouraged to look at each year as a new opportunity for challenge, growth, and progress, setting goals that will leave them even better going forward.

A few goals you can put on your 2024 vision board for well-being and peace of mind are:

  • Commit yourself to meditation – Maybe you’ve tried meditation before, tried practicing mindfulness when you can, but you haven’t completely committed yet. 2024 may be your year to do just that. Meditation is proven to combat anxiety, improve stress, and have positive physical results as well as emotional. Set a time slot aside each day for a mindful meditation session and stick to it. This time can start as low as five minutes in a day, and progress as you move forward in your skills and meditation’s benefits. An investment in mala prayer beads can be a useful encouragement tool.
  • Set time management goals – Failing to upkeep a healthy work/life balance is something that many women in business struggle with today. They dedicate too much of themselves to the office, failing to cater to their own equally important self-care. Goals for 2024 could include turning a work phone off at a certain time each day, taking one hour daily to dedicate to self-care, or setting (and sticking to) self-care prioritizing schedules.
  • Make a goal to listen first – All too often we speak before we listen, or we listen simply to speak. When this happens, we fail to hear or understand what other parties are truly expressing. When we fail to understand, miscommunication happens, and situations are made more complicated than they need to be. Making a goal to listen first, and prioritize listening during communication, helps you to connect authentically during the new year.
  • Lead with compassion – Compassion is contagious. When you lead with compassion, you plant the seed for more compassion in your personal and professional life. Making a goal to put compassion first in your leadership can have you enjoying a more peaceful, mindful, and successful end to 2024.

The goals you set now will determine the experience you have this time next year. For better peace of mind, it’s never too late to work toward a better self.
