If you don’t believe you will succeed, why would others?
The biggest driver of professional success is not your network, skills, or industry knowledge. It’s the confidence you carry in yourself. Confidence is the ability to take on challenges and opportunities, build positive relationships, and maintain resilience in the face of setbacks. It is an essential quality to cultivate for career success.
When you believe in yourself and your professional abilities, others will also. When they believe in your abilities, you’ll be overwhelmed by the opportunities that come. Leaders understand confident individuals are more likely to take risks, speak up, and establish themselves and their organization in the field. Most importantly, confidence gives you the ability to handle the stresses and demands of the workplace, as well as learn from your mistakes and continue to grow in your career.
Recite Mantras To Build Confidence
Unfortunately, building confidence is challenging, especially in a society that inundates you with messaging to make you feel insecure. The best way to build confidence is by doing the internal work. Reciting mantras can build confidence by focusing your thoughts on positive and empowering messages, which can counteract negative self-talk and self-doubt. This reinforces a positive mindset and a belief in one’s abilities, increasing your confidence.
You can recite mantras by repeating them either silently or aloud. You can do it during meditation or yoga or as part of your daily routine when you need a boost of confidence. Repeating mantras will shift your mindset and empower you to feel more confident.

When I do mantras, I use my mala beads. I take them in one hand and let the string drape over my fingers. Starting at the Guru bead, I state the mantra and then gently move to the beads along my finger. I do this until I circle the string and return back to the Guru bead. Whether you use mala beads or not, these mantras will help you boost your confidence.
