While it’s true that here at Technalink we put a lot of emphasis on topics like spiritual management and women entrepreneurs, that doesn’t mean we ignore the other aspects of life. Yes, it’s true that in the 21st century, we put a lot of emphasis on professional careers in the workforce, but that’s because we want to support the women who make the choice to go into business for themselves.
What this absolutely does not mean, is that we disapprove of the women or men that make the crucial choice to stay at home and raise a family, full-time. We understand that this is a choice, a sacrifice, a service, and often a life-changing decision all rolled into one.
Keep The Faith For The Future
Today’s world, especially with the hyper-awareness of it borne from social media, can be a frightening, almost random place without direction. We’re now more aware than ever of the failings of politicians, the corruption that can come even from religious institutions, and the ways that special interest groups can override common decency in the name of a political or business agendas.
But we’ve also seen that some young people have made the decision to take a stand, and fight for what is right, even in the face of persecution and ridicule from the vast, military industrial complex that is arrayed against them. And why are these young people doing this? Because they were raised right. Whether they had women entrepreneurs as parents, or stay-at-home fathers that instilled in them a sense of values, we’re now seeing what happens when people who are inculcated with a sense of compassion, justice and fairness take what their parents taught them, and put it into action.
Women entrepreneurs have a lot of challenges they face in the workplace. But people that choose to stay at home and raise children with love, intelligence, and an ability to think critically, question the world and come to their own answers, are making an important contribution to our country. Maybe the most important of all; raising good Americans.
