If someone else does an amazing job on a project, give them credit. Support those who need support. When you lead in the way you would want a leader to do so, you help inspire your team.
- Support Through Empathy – Whether it’s giving an employee who is ill some extra time off, providing opportunities for spirituality to play a role in how employees work, or something else entirely, find your empathy and use it in the workplace.
- Dive Into Projects – Don’t be a leader who hides behind a closed door. Get out there and help your team with a more hands on approach to projects and job duties. They’ll look up to you in a more significant way.
- Don’t Use Gender As An Excuse – Women in business leadership roles face a lot of challenges, and it’s important that you are able to overcome them. But while that’s true, it doesn’t mean that you should let y our gender make you feel like you can’t succeed or use it as an excuse. Instead, know that you have to work hard to find respect and success, and then get out there and do it. You really do make your own success.
