You Can Still Meditate While Working From Home

You Can Still Meditate While Working From HomeTechnalink has had to cope with challenging adaptations and changes during these pandemic years, just as every other business. It’s forced us to reevaluate work from home practices, remote work, and communications and how these will fit into future endeavors of spiritual entrepreneurship. As to be expected, this has had a knock-on effect on just about every aspect of spiritual entrepreneurship as well, including meditation.

We still believe meditation is a crucial aspect of successful working. However, now that work may be occurring at home, there are some important tips to consider to make that meditation productive.

Find A Suitable Location

This is probably easier at home, and while it’s not an absolute requirement—you can meditate just about anywhere!—it helps the process. A quiet, relaxing spot is always good. This may be a corner of a home office, a spare room in the home, or even a backyard. American Grounds Service offer lawn mowing services which can make your backyard a sanctuary. Whatever the case, having a quiet, dedicated meditation space is always a good idea if you can find one.

Set Aside Time

This isn’t to say that you need to have a massive block of time signed off just for meditation, but it means that there should be no multi-tasking when it’s time to meditate. You are here to meditate and only meditate. That time can be as little as 5-10 minutes, especially when you’re first starting, or as long as an hour if you feel you can benefit from that. The important thing is when you decide to meditate, make sure you’re undisturbed and have the space and time to focus on this.

Use Tools

Meditation doesn’t have to be just you sitting there, and it doesn’t have to mean trying to figure things out on your own. There are plenty of guided meditation experiences, such as apps, and you can use and follow, as well as accessories like mala prayer beads can help to establish a comfortable routine configured just for you and your preferences.
