What Is Spiritual Management?

March 23, 2018 by Alka Dhillon Leave a Comment

What Is Spiritual Management? Our team at Technalink truly believes in a non-controlling form of leadership. We believe in spiritual management where leaders help their employees leave each day feeling fulfilled and valued. Are you aware of what spiritual management is and how to implement it into your workplace?

What Is Spiritual Management?

Spiritual management is a managerial style that considers more than the bottom-line of the company. It focuses on the impact that members of the organization have on themselves and others each day, on both a personal and a spiritual level.

A leader who practices spiritual management is always evolving. They are self-aware and in touch with their inner self. They constantly evaluate how their business practices can be improved to have a greater impact on the surrounding community, thereby increasing the effectiveness of their organization.

Implementing Spiritual Management

If you’re looking to bring spiritual management to your workplace, you must first be in touch with yourself and your business. You must know the strengths and weaknesses of yourself and your employees.

From there, it’s a matter of leading by example. Spiritual management is not bossy, controlling, or demanding. Instead, it entails using your personal values to set an example and lead for the people around you. It means going through each day with integrity, focus, and balance. It also means having compassion and understanding for your employees.

We’ve found that one of the things that spiritual managers do best is engaging others. They do not put themselves above anyone else on the team. They don’t mind getting their hands dirty or working alongside another team member if it’s for the well-being of everyone involved. Spiritual managers can lead by example without saying anything, setting a standard of expectations as a result.
