Improving Introvert And Extrovert Communications

April 19, 2017 by Alka Dhillon Leave a Comment

Improving Introvert And Extrovert Communications In an office setting, you’re going to run into a myriad of different personalities. One of the most common challenges we’ve found here at Technalink is connecting extroverts and introverts in a way that provides both parties mindful communication guided by soulful leadership. While the extrovert thrives on sharing ideas, speaking openly, and benefitting from the energy of others, the introvert finds this draining and prefers an atmosphere where they can generate their energy on their own. Improving these connections is a big part of the compassionate leader job, as both parties can truly reach their full potential when aligned spiritually with one another.

The interesting part of connecting introverts with extroverts is that they seem to thrive and be disadvantaged by the exact opposite things. When the extrovert builds upon their own energy by being around others, introverts are drained in the same situation, and vice versa. So, how do you get them to come together to reach a common balance? It simply takes a compassionate leader guiding them both to that coveted middle ground.

The first step to bringing these two personalities together harmoniously is compromise, and allowing the introvert and the extrovert to find what they’re willing to give up and what they may not be willing to sacrifice. Less frequent brainstorming sessions in a group, or more time for solo projects can help both parties to get what they need to make the most of their interactions, but while still meeting halfway. Soon they will be able to appreciate one another’s influence and understand better how they function and what their unique talents bring to the table.

Introvert to extrovert communications are an ongoing project, as they will naturally tend to gravitate towards their natural need for energy in their own individual way. With soulful leadership at the helm, connecting these two different types of brilliant minds can be a benefit to not just those who possess them, but those surrounding them as well.
