How Can I Find Ways To Meditate At Work?

How Can I Find Ways To Meditate At Work?Meditation is the key to finding your inner peace and unleashing your own positivity power. At Technalink, we encourage meditation in all kinds of ways, and we want to teach you how you can find ways to meditate when you need it most. Meditation during stressful situations allows you to clear your mind and see things in a brighter light, which makes this something that you should absolutely incorporate into your own workday routine.

One simple way you can meditate at work is with simple deep breathing exercises. These can be done during down time, or in the moment, and they allow you to be able to meditate at work no matter what your current day or situation may be like. Take deep breaths and pay some mind to how you’re breathing and how your breathing is affecting your body. The slow rise and fall of your arms, shoulders, and chest will help to put you in a meditative but workable state.

You can also try smiling meditation, which is where you sit or stand, relax, and smile. Forcing yourself to smile through stress will seem a little silly at first, but you’ll find quite quickly that the smile comes more naturally after only a couple tries. Smiling can help you to feel more positive on the inside, and this positivity can come with just the relaxation you want to feel the power of meditation in minutes.

Using a simple one word mantra can also be a simple way to meditate at work. Train your mind to associate your mantra with a feeling of calm and peace, and repeat this mantra while at work either in your mind or out loud to inspire this feeling to come on when you need it most. If you’re faced with a stressful situation, you’re making a big decision, or you’re nervous for any reason, keep your simple mantra in the back of your mind and know you can use it to bring yourself to a meditative calm at any point.

During your lunch break, or if you have a couple of minutes of downtime, walking meditation is also a great way to meditate at work. Take a short walk and pay close attention to your breathing, the way your legs are moving, the sounds you hear, and how you feel as you’re walking. You may even wish to use your one word mantra during your walk and bring about your own personal peace in this way. You don’t need to walk far, and a lap or two around the office can be just enough to give you the meditation time you need.
