The OM Factor, now on audiobook, has within it plenty of tips and strategies for women in business looking to succeed in their spiritual entrepreneurship today. However, there’s no such thing as learning too much. We encourage women entrepreneurs to take in as many experiences and as much advice as they can at Technalink. 5 additional things that women in business today should know are:
1. Believing in yourself goes far – For many women in business, your most unexpected obstacle can be yourself. A failure to take constructive criticism well, self-doubt, and a yearning to “give up” can be what is holding you back from reaching your full potential in your career.
2. Examine your drive – Spiritual entrepreneurship is backed by passion, and when your passion falters, your efforts will soon follow. It pays to take time to examine your drive as you push forward toward your spiritual entrepreneurship goals. This lets you catch slips in your passion early and gives you time to find new motivation and get back on track.
3. Make time for your personal relationships – Having drive is great, but you don’t want that drive to override everything else in your life. If you do, you’ll quickly find that you lose the true motivation behind your drive in the first place. Even if you have to write it into your calendar or your daily schedule, make time to give your complete attention to your personal relationships.
4. Accept learning is a lifelong journey – One thing that women in business learn quickly is that there is always something new to learn. This extends throughout your entire spiritual entrepreneur journey. There is always something to learn, something to gain, and ways you can grow. Accept experience and advice from everywhere you can, even if the lessons aren’t those you always agree with.
5. Find a mentor, be a mentor – In the early years of your spiritual entrepreneurship journey, finding a mentor is one of the most important things you can do. It’s shadowing success, and it’s teaching you how to approach all different facets of your industry and profession through experience. As you grow in business, you have the unique opportunity to give back by being the kind of mentor who taught you so much. In this way, you can share impactful empowerment.
