Your mantra is what sets the mood for your meditations. It centers your focus and gives you an end goal when it comes to what you want to get out of any meditative session. At Technalink we respect the power of a mantra, and all that goes into choosing the best mantra for your session and your day. A few ways we encourage our team members to choose their mantras are:
• Focus on your intention – One of the most important things you can do before any meditation session is to set your intention. Your intention is your goal, and focusing solely on what intentions you may have is a really easy way to have your mantra come to you naturally. How do you want to feel after the meditation session? What questions do you seek inside yourself? How do you want those questions to be answered? Let your answers to these questions form the center of your meditative goals and circle your mantra around them.
• Tap into your intuition – Sometimes your gut knows best. As you learn how to meditate, you’ll find that your intuition has a lot to tell you – including the mantras that might be best for you at any given moment. When you listen to your gut, you discover more about your emotional well-being, your goals, your heart, and simply put, your true self. Meditation with Fluorite stones can help to heighten intuition, making your “inner voice” louder and easier to hear.
• Try different mantras – If you’ve got a handful of mantras in your mind, but you’re not sure which would work best for a particular meditation session, don’t be afraid to try them out. Spend a minute or so repeating each either out loud or in your mind and see which feels best. You can trust that your very soul will let you know which is the best fit for your meditative goals on any given day.
Your mantra is your meditation guide. It’s there to push you along and put purpose into any meditative session. When you’ve chosen the right mantra, you’ll know in your mind, body, and spirit, giving your meditation more power and more purpose for a successful experience. It’s important to remember that your mantra is your own, and when it comes to choosing a mantra, there is no right or wrong answer.
