Great Ways To Give Your Employees More

Great Ways To Give Your Employees More Your employees are the lifeblood of your business. Without them, nothing happens and your company will likely remain stagnant. That’s why it’s so important for business leaders to show their employees that they appreciate them – letting them know you care about them and value them means that they have improved morale and are more willing to give you great results every single day.

Pay is obviously where it all starts, and employee benefits like health insurance or retirement packages are important as well. But what about going beyond those basics? Even the smallest businesses that can’t afford to offer some top-level benefit packages could still go above and beyond and offer their employees a lot more. At Technalink, we think it’s vital to do just that. It helps you become a more spiritual entrepreneur, but it also helps your business at its core. With that in mind, here are a few easy ways to give your employees more and make sure they’re happy with their place in your company.

• Help them get healthier by setting up a reduced rate for memberships at a local gym. Or, if possible, set up a small fitness room in your office space – just a small room with a couple of machines could help inspire them to get more fit.

• Offer meal planning assistance or even just literature that helps provide new ideas and information on eating healthy.

• Set up daily break periods for exercise, meditation, and personal reflection. These ‘personal times’ don’t have to be that long, but can really help refresh mind, body, and soul.

• Give them things like garnet stones to help with their meditation and with grounding them during stressful periods at the office. This is especially important when you’re working towards being a more spiritual entrepreneur.

• Offer discounts to your company’s products and services, or even provide freebies from time to time.

• Recognize excellence with awards, banquets, or just things like pizza parties to help show employees that they’re special.

• Hold contests or drawings to award prizes. Not for excellent performance – just for being part of the team.

These are just a few simple ideas. You can build on them or expand as you see fit, but the point is the same no matter what: making your employees feel like you truly value them will help them become more valuable than ever before. It’s a win-win for everyone involved, and a key part of being a spiritual entrepreneur.
