Inspire The People Around You

February 5, 2018 by Alka Dhillon Leave a Comment

Inspire The People Around YouTechnalink is extremely proud of its commitment to soulful leadership, and we are proud to encourage others in business to do the same. But one thing we take great pains to pass on to people thinking of following this method of business is that you, and those that you give authority to in your company, must exemplify this soulful leadership yourselves in ways that are visible to everyone.

Deeds Not Words

One very quick way to lose support for any type of operational change is to not show commitment to that change right at the very top. If, for example, you wanted to implement new energy efficiency or organizational changes throughout your company, but merely let lectures and training sessions filter down to employees, without appearing to embrace any of these changes yourself, this will make it much more difficult to “sell” this change to the people around you.

If you really want soulful leadership to have an effect on your business operates, and how the people in your company relate to each other and their work, they must see it in action. They must see you exemplify this, and show that you truly believe in this and want everyone else to embrace it as well.

This doesn’t mean we advocate making it mandatory for everyone to buy garnet stones and use them in forced meditation sessions that are led by you, with the threat of dismissal if they don’t comply. However, if they see that you undertake these practices of mindfulness for yourself, and that you actively encourage others to find their own path to mindfulness, that sends a very different, more positive, and more effective message.

So in one sense, soulful leadership in your company is relatively simple. It starts with you, yourself, being a soulful leader that demonstrates to everyone else how it should be done!
