Study Has Found That Spiritual Management Is Good For Business

Study Has Found That Spiritual Management Is Good For Business Spiritual management has become a style that has picked up pace in recent years, and a study has shown that not only is soulful leadership good for employees and workplace morale, but good for business as well. This news isn’t news to us at Technalink, but we love that more businesses are embracing spirituality in leadership and all the benefits that it can bring to various aspects of the everyday workplace.

A study presented at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s conference in 2013 found that employees felt safer and more engaged when spirituality was embraced in the workplace, regardless of the specific spiritualities practiced by various members of any team. These results were gathered from the answers of more than 11,000 participants, providing a large sample size of professionals from various walks of life.

What does a safer and more engaged and open workplace mean for your bottom line? A whole lot, actually. When employees feel safe and open in their workplace, open communication becomes easier, and teams are able to share ideas and innovation with one another without fear of being judged or facing hostility because of their ideas. This atmosphere of openness and trust leads to new and creative ideas, while allowing your soulful leadership to tap into talent reservoirs that may have never opened up in quite this way before. For more introverted members of the workplace, who may feel uncomfortable sharing their ideas, this also presents the opportunity for them to find their voice in an understanding and comfortable environment.

With better workplace morale and better innovation, employees will get excited about meeting those workplace goals and coming up with new ideas for goals to reach further for in the future. You’ll find that your business begins to move more quickly toward success milestones that were being obstructed by communication and creativity hurdles before, clearing the way to a place that truly proves the sky is the limit in terms of what your business can do.
